What we Do…

  • Enlighten Filipino migrant workers and their families on the history, whys and wherefores, trends and impact of global migration and migration in the specific context of the Philippines.
  • Develop the informed and eager participation of present and future FWC members in the activities and campaigns of the organization in Italy and the Philippines.
  • Promote gender equality in families of migrant workers in their country of origin and host country, and unite them into a community strongly against domestic violence, rape and sexual exploitation.
  • At the local, regional and global levels, lobby and work for policies, legislation and programs that recognize and uphold migrant rights and rights of women, especially women of colour, and labour. Actively participate in broad alliances and coordinated activities on these issues.
